A special screening of Kesari Chapter 2 was hosted in Delhi today by the film’s creators. Here is the initial assessment of the Akshay Kumar film.
Bollywood’s original star, Khiladi Akshay Kumar, gave audiences chills in 2019 when he brought Kesari to theaters, allowing fans to see the events leading up to the Battle of Saragarhi. Akshay’s best picture to date, directed by Anurag Singh, made a lasting impression.
Akshay’s comeback
Kesari Chapter 2 marks Akshay’s comeback to the big screen, but this time it features a different plot and a different cast. The forgotten narrative of the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre is the subject of Kesari Chapter 2, directed by Karan Singh Tyagi and starring Ananya Panday and R Madhavan. We are thrilled to report that the first review of the film, which had a special showing in Delhi before its release this Friday, is now available.
British Indian Army’s Sikh Regiment
Akshay Kumar played the part of a valiant member of the British Indian Army’s Sikh Regiment in Kesari. Fans will see him this time in Kesari Chapter 2 as C. Sankaran Nair, a lawyer who opposed the British Raj and discovered the truth behind the Jallianwala Bagh tragedy. Lawyer and politician Charu Pragya tweeted after seeing a screening of Kesari 2 and giving it a review: “I didn’t even blink in the first half of the film while watching the screening of #KesariChapter2! SUPERB! Bravo, @akshaykumar. The best you’ve ever had! I am grateful to @HardeepSPuri Sir for arranging this.
