One passage from the Hindustan Times’ assessment of the movie said, “Perhaps Deva needed more action. plus fewer layers.
Why complicate the plot if there are a few really noteworthy moments mixed in with the treatment? Even some intriguing storylines seem unfinished. The lively title song is the lone tune in the album. The conversations between Hussain Dalal and Abbas Dalal are also passable.
Deva has a great deal of promise to offer us a big, erratic, and constantly on edge persona. The story is obvious, and Shahid is in good form.
