The Chanakya exit poll from today predicts that the BJP will receive 49% of the vote and win 45–57 seats in the Delhi assembly elections.
An overwhelming victory for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is projected by an exit poll for the Delhi assembly elections published by Today’s Chanakya on Thursday.
With a 49% vote share, the exit poll predicts that the BJP would win 45–57 seats, while the Aam Aadmi Party may receive 13–25 seats in the 70-member Delhi legislature. To create the Delhi government, a party must win 36 or more seats.
Other exit poll predictions
Chanakya’s predictions today are consistent with the majority of previous exit polls that indicate the BJP is likely to become Delhi’s next administration. According to estimates, Congress will maintain its poor performance.
Depending on how close the BJP won, exit poll forecasts differed.
Two polls suggested that the AAP will put up a fierce battle, while others anticipated that the BJP may win more than 45 seats. A victory for the Aam Aadmi Party is even predicted by two exit polls.
After voting ended on Wednesday, the majority of exit polls were made public; however, on Thursday, Axis My India, Today’s Chanakya, and CNX did the same. Axis The BJP is expected to win 45–55 seats, according to My India exit poll.
The current AAP is expected to win 15–25 seats, according to a consumer data analytics firm founded by Pradeep Gupta. At most, one seat is predicted to be won by the Congress.
The poll indicates that Arvind Kejriwal of the AAP is the top candidate for the position of chief minister in Delhi, followed by Parvesh Verma and Manoj Tiwari of the BJP.
The BJP is expected to win 49–61 seats and 49.05% of the vote, according to CNX, while the AAP may receive 10–19 seats and 41.52% of the vote. With 0–1 seats and a vote percentage of 5.37%, the Congress might resume its involvement in the assembly after a ten-year break. Saturday will see the announcement of the February 5 election results.
