Prime Minister Netanyahu chooses to return to battle to “eliminate” Hamas or wants to free the other hostages, Donald Trump promised to back him.
US President Donald Trump said
As a way to ease tensions between Israel and the Palestinians, US President Donald Trump said Fox News in an interview on Friday that he is not “forcing” his plan to depopulate, occupy, and reconstruct the Gaza Strip.
The Republican, however, insisted that his plan was the “best approach” and questioned why Israel had given up on it.“I’ll tell you the way to do it is my plan,” Trump stated in an interview with Fox News. That seems to be the strategy that works. I’m not pressuring it, though. I’ll just take a back seat and suggest it.
Hamas would not exist
The site would then be owned by the US, and Hamas would not exist. They would then be developed, and you would begin anew with a blank slate. Trump’s proposal to evict the Palestinians and rebuild the war-torn region has been rejected by Arab nations like Egypt and Jordan.
Additionally, if Egypt and Jordan reject his offer to take in displaced Palestinians, the US president threatened to stop providing them with foreign aid. Jordan later consented to accept 2,000 ill kids.
A bad real estate transaction
Trump also questioned why Israel gave the Palestinian Authority authority of the strip after unilaterally withdrawing from it in 2005, removing all military equipment and settlements.
Hamas seized control of Gaza
Later, the militant organization Hamas seized control of Gaza. Someone well-known in Israel—I can’t say who it was—made the decision to give it up.
Trump made a vague allusion to former Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon when he added, “It’s one of the bad real estate deals.”If Prime Minister Netanyahu chooses to return to battle to “eliminate” Hamas or wants to free the other hostages, the US president also promised to support him.
US redevelops the area
Trump previously implied that once the US redevelops the area, the displaced Palestinians will not have the right to return in an interview with the same network. They would have far nicer homes, so no, they wouldn’t.
To put it another way, Trump had stated, “I’m talking about building a permanent place for them because if they have to return now, it will be years before you could ever — it’s not comfortable.”
