‘Parakram Diwas’ is a celebration on the anniversary of Subhash Chandra Bose’s birth. On Thursday, January 23, 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar were among the leaders who commemorated Subhash Chandra Bose’s birth anniversary and his contributions to the nation’s cause. On Parakram Divas, also known as the “day of valour,” people commemorate the birth anniversary of Netaji, as the legendary leader was known.

Azad Hind Fauj

Netaji has made an incomparable contribution to the Indian liberation movement,according to Mr. Modi. In remembrance of Bose, the legendary independence warrior who led the Azad Hind Fauj in their battle against the British, Mr. Modi said he was the embodiment of bravery and willpower

The Prime Minister stated, “His vision continues to inspire us as we strive to create the India he envisioned.” ‘Parakram Diwas’ is a celebration of Bose’s birthyear. Bose was a popular and dynamic politician who was born in 1897. He became president of the Congress but later had a falling out with the party because he advocated for a more powerful military to combat India’s colonial rulers.

Likewise, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar wrote on X that Bose’s outstanding commitment to India’s independence and the establishment of the Azad Hind Fauj are evidence of his exceptional bravery and vision.
