Day 6 box office receipts for Chhaava: Vicky Kaushal’s historic action film is now on track to reach the ₹300 crore milestone.The Chhaava juggernaut is still going strong. On Wednesday, the sixth day of its release, Chhaava became the highest-grossing Indian film of 2025 and surpassed the ₹250 crore global milestone. And that was all throughout the first week.

Day 6 of Chhaava’s global box office receipts

In its first six days in the domestic market, Laxman Utekar’s Chhaava has made ₹197.75 crore nett (₹237 crore total), according to Sacnilk. The state of Maharashtra declared Chhatrapati Shivaji Jayanti a public holiday on Wednesday, which caused a large spike in the movie’s box office receipts. Since Chhaava’s release, Maharashtra has led the nation’s collections, therefore the holiday significantly increased them. Chhaava’s earnings in India on Wednesday totaled ₹32 crore, a substantial 27% increase over Tuesday’s earnings of ₹25.25 crore. Chhaava has done well overseas, making more than $4 million (₹33 crore). Even though foreign box office receipts are not as high as those in the home market, the Vicky Kaushal film has managed to make ₹270 crore globally. It should cross the Rs.300 crore mark by Thursday end.

Chhava became the highest-grossing Indian film of 2025 with its revenues on Wednesday. It has triumphed over Sankranthiki Vasthunam, a Telugu film. According to Sacnilk, the Daggubati Venkatesh-starring film brought in over ₹252 crore at the box office. In just six days, Chhaava passed the test, and in the days and weeks ahead, the disparity will only grow. Previously, Chhaava became the biggest movie in Bollywood in 2025, surpassing the ₹168 crore milestone set by Akshay Kumar’s Sky Force.

Vicky Kaushal plays Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj in Laxman Utekar’s film Chhaava, while Akshaye Khanna plays Emperor Aurangzeb. Rashmika Mandanna, Vineet Kumar Singh, Ashutosh Rana, Neil Bhoopalam, and Diana Penty play important roles in the movie as well. On February 14, Chhaava was released in theaters to overwhelmingly positive reviews from viewers and mixed to positive reviews from critics.
