Ahead of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Summit in Paris, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stopped by the Elysee Palace for a welcome dinner held by French President Emmanuel Macron on Monday. When he arrived, Mr. Macron gave his “friend” PM Modi a hearty embrace. “Welcome to Paris, my friend @narendramodi,” Mr. Macron tweeted on X, along with a video of the PM’s arrival at the welcoming supper at the Elysee Palace.

US Vice President JD Vance was among the other foreign leaders PM Modi met at the venue who will be attending the AI Summit. This was the first time the two leaders had met since Mr. Vance entered office last month. During the welcoming dinner, the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) also posted pictures of the three leaders conversing with one another.
When PM Modi arrived in Paris, the Indian community welcomed him with open arms. The PM may be seen shaking their hands and waving. “Paris, a welcome to remember! The Indian community continued to express their love this evening despite the cold. “I’m thankful for our diaspora and proud of their achievements,” he remarked.
