Simplified skincare: Two minutes a day is all it takes to meet our skin’s needs, so you don’t need to spend a lot of time on it.
Have you not been taking care of your skin on a regular basis lately? Are you haphazardly using everything you can reach for at any given time? Additionally, because you haven’t been as committed to caring for your skin, you are quick to assume that everything has been lost in terms of skin health and to accept your skin problems. Nothing is lost, though, and it will only take two minutes of your time to make things better. On the Wellnessteps podcast, board-certified holistic plastic surgeon Dr. Anthony Youn described a quick, easy, two-minute skincare routine. For two months, he even tested it on a few others, and they reported noticeable changes.
Basic skincare
“I have created a very basic skincare regimen that anyone can follow,” he added. It only takes two minutes every day. We placed them on it for two months, taking before and after pictures and asking people online how much younger they looked. It turned out that they looked, on average, five years younger than they did before, even though they weren’t particularly well-maintained or anything.
Easy yet efficient two-minute skincare regimen
This skincare regimen was shared by Dr. Anthony Youn, who thoroughly explained each step:
Make sure your skin is cleansed according to its kind each morning.
This entails using a milky or moisturizing cleanser for dry, sensitive skin and a foamy cleanser for oily skin. Use a serum containing vitamin C or antioxidant. Apply sunscreen with at least SPF 30 if you’re heading outside. Remove pollution, debris, and makeup from your skin by cleansing it every night. The evening is the ideal time to wash your face, even if you only do it once a day. Use an anti-aging cream each evening. Lastly, apply a mild exfoliating scrub once a week if you have sensitive skin, or two to three times a week if you have typical skin.
Starting skincare is something you can do at any time.
With so many skincare products on the market, each professing to solve a particular skin issue, it may be both daunting and perplexing. Typically, you may become so overwhelmed by the noise that you fail to make any decisions at all, which is a classic example of decision paralysis. You may also choose to make skincare more of an occasional rather than a daily habit, depending on how you’re feeling. To begin, however, you don’t need to follow complicated steps or have a cabinet full of creams and serums. In addition to making it simpler to maintain consistency and follow the program, taking little steps also helps you see improvements over time.
