Transactions between banks and between individuals and merchants are made easier by UPI, a real-time payment system.
During Saturday’s significant UPI app outage, several users reported being unable to transfer or receive money. Data from Downdetector indicates that most of the impacted apps had to do with UPI and banking services.


On the basis of objective, open user reports and problems gathered from the internet, Downdetector functions. It lets users report concerns with apps and shows the most frequently reported problems. UPPI (Unified Payments Interface) and UPI Apps Transactions between banks and between individuals and merchants are made easier by UPI, a real-time payment system. More than 2,324 platform-related reports were filed at roughly 1 PM.

Google Pay

Reports of outages were also made about Google Pay, which allows users to send and receive money. The majority of the 465 complaints concerned nonpayment.

The PayTM

60 reports were sent to Paytm, and roughly 60% of them dealt with unsuccessful payments. Problems at Banks
[12 About 67% of the 814 reports that State Bank of India (SBI) had at the same period had to do with online banking.

HDFC Bank

The majority of the 103 complaints that HDFC Bank received around 1 PM were about online banking and bill payments.

Axis Bank

79 user reports were received by Axis Bank at 1 PM, primarily concerning problems with financial transfers and mobile banking.

The Bank of India

There were 69 reports from Bank of India customers. Fund transfers accounted for the bulk of concerns, followed by problems with mobile banking.
