Director Prashanth Neel and actor Jr. NTR are working together on a movie following the success of Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire and Devara: Part 1. NTR Neel: On Thursday, the film that actor Jr. NTR and director Prashanth Neel are working on officially began production. To mark the announcement, Jr. NTR and Mythri Movie Makers, the film’s production company, posted a photo of Prashanth from the shoot on social media.

The production company posted a photo of Prashanth in charge of a scene. Many extras are standing behind a police cordon, and he is standing atop a car.
In addition, a battered Ambassador automobile that appears to have been in an accident is seen on the road, and broken bicycles are scattered next to a fire.
The makers posted it on X with the caption, “The soil finally embraces its reign to leave a MARK in the history books of Indian cinema! The #NTRNeel shoot has formally started. An entirely fresh wave of ACTION & EUPHORIA is poised to ensnare the masses.
Jr. NTR shared the image on his Instagram stories with the caption, “And it begins… “#NTRNeel.”
About NTR Neel
The film featuring Jr NTR and Prashanth was announced on Jr NTR’s birthday in 2022. In May of the same year, while celebrating Jr NTR’s birthday, Prashanth shared a poster for the movie and indicated that filming would commence in August.
However, when the scheduled time arrived, only a pooja ceremony took place. Initially, the film was expected to start shooting in March of last year. After multiple delays, production on the film, which aims for a 2026 release, has finally commenced.
Following the pooja ceremony, the producers stated, “This time, the earth will tremble under his reign! #NTRNeel will step onto the soil on January 9th, 2026.”
Nevertheless, it remains uncertain whether the film will be released as planned. Jr NTR is also set to make his Bollywood debut with Ayan Mukherjee’s War 2 alongside Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani.
