India vs. New Zealand Champions Trophy 2025 Final Despite choosing to bat first, New Zealand was only able to score 251. Michael Bracewell scored an undefeated half-century, while Daryl Mitchell was their leading scorer with 63 runs.
India vs New Zealand Champions Trophy 2025 Final Highlights:
India won the Champions Trophy in Dubai on Sunday after defeating New Zealand by four wickets. In addition to captain Rohit Sharma’s solid 76, Shreyas Iyer’s 48 and KL Rahul’s undefeated 34 helped India chase down New Zealand’s 252-run mark with six balls remaining.
Earlier, India’s spinners held the score in check and New Zealand was able to set India a goal of 252 runs. With 63 runs, Daryl Mitchell led the Black Caps in scoring, and Michael Bracewell led the Kiwis past the 250-run milestone with an undefeated half-century. Mohammed Shami and Ravindra Jadeja both contributed one wicket, while Varun Chakaravarthy and Kuldeep Yadav each took two wickets for India. In the middle overs, India’s spinners slowed the flow of runs, but Bracewell’s late burst enabled the Kiwis score 79 runs in the final 10 overs.
