Laxmi Nagar and Noida Sector 62 Branch
Laxmi Nagar and Noida Sector 62 in Delhi, as well as branches in Meerut, Ghaziabad, Lucknow, and Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh, have all been impacted by the shutdown. Bihar’s Patna and Madhya Pradesh’s Bhopal have also been impacted. In order to prepare for competitive tests such as the Indian Institutes of Technology Joint Entrance Examination (IIT-JEE), many ambitious engineers have turned to FIITJEE, a renowned institution. However, what has caused so many centers to close?
Why did FIITJEE shut down its coaching centers?
Why did FIITJEE shut down its coaching centers? A number of North Indian towns have seen the closure of FIITJEE tutoring centers as a result of a mass resignation of teachers over unpaid compensation. Officials said that the center’s management first attempted to bring in teachers from Noida, but that effort was short-lived. The institute had to be closed after this.
Some parents have filed formal complaints against the institute
Some parents have filed formal complaints against the institute in anger over the shutdown. Parents claimed in one such FIR, filed ten days earlier in Ghaziabad, that the institute had abruptly stopped operations, endangering their children’s academic preparation. Noida also received a similar FIR.“
Ghaziabad center have not received their salaries for months
I have been teaching there for more than four years but I left the Patna coaching center in November last year as I had not been paid since July,” a teacher from the Patna branch told HT, adding that the complaint also claims that teachers at the Ghaziabad center have not received their salaries for months. The primary worry is the potential effects on thousands of students in North India, many of whom are in a crucial stage of their exam preparation, even if the abrupt closures have raised questions about FIITJEE’s financial stability. Fresh administrative and municipal action against its branches for breaking fire safety and licensing regulations has caused a problem for FIITJEE.
