There was a fire in Prayagraj’s Maha Kumbh Nagar on Friday. As of right now, there are no casualties, and firefighters are trying to keep the situation under control.

Fire at Maha Kumbh:

Fire officials told news agency PTI that an ISKCON camp at Maha Kumbh Nagar, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, had a fire on Friday. Sector 18, Shankaracharya Marg, Maha Kumbh Mela Kshetra, is where the tragedy happened.

Authorities said they were working to determine what caused the fire and the extent of the damage it caused. Firefighters have “completely controlled” the fire issue, according to DIG (Maha Kumbh) Vaibhav Krishna. He wrote, “No one is hurt in it,” on X. A fire incident has been recorded in the Kumbh Mela area for the third time.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited the location


In Prayagraj to assess the preparations for Mauni Amavasya, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also visited the location and gave the go-ahead for officials to take action to prevent a repeat of the occurrence. One Jaspreet fainted and hurt his leg while fleeing the scene, according to a statement, and was sent to the Maha Kumbh Mela hospital.

Swaruprani Medical College in Prayagraj given first aid


Jaspreet was taken to Swaruprani Medical College in Prayagraj after being given first aid, according to the report. It further indicated that there was no danger to the injured’s condition. Pilgrims were told to stay away from the damaged area, and bystanders recorded the smoke and flames on their cell phones. Pramod Sharma, the head fire officer at Kumbhmela, earlier stated that 15 fire engines were called into action to put out the fire, which had spread to 18 tents.
