An passionate Shahid Kapoor fan, popular television personality Aly Goni, described his awful experience seeing Deva in a posh multiplex in the Mumbai suburbs.

After the screening ended owing to technical issues, the TV personality left because she was upset with the multiplex management. “We are watching the movie at Inorbit and look at this…” Aly posted a video taken inside the hall on his Instagram stories. It’s stuck. The actor Shahid Kapoor is not rising. That’s Inox’s condition, brother. Take a peek.

Aly Goni about Inox

And it has halted once more,” he continued. INOX is in this condition. It has finally halted after we paid Rs 5000 for tickets. According to them, it would take fifteen to twenty minutes. @inoxmovies is dissatisfied and will never return.

We were unable to watch the movie because of you, but thanks to INOX. Shahid Kapoor, you have our love. Since Shahid Kapoor was the only reason I went to see the movie, we will most certainly try again. However, PVR does not want us to see the movie, and the theater is in poor shape—the sound isn’t working. Thus, we are immediately departing from this location,” he said.

Firstpost rated Deva three stars in their review, writing, “The biggest downer is the climatic twist where the vulnerability of the central character from the original is replaced by a clichéd sermon by Dev-A.” The producers may have changed the ending for two reasons. They wanted to make it clear that this was not a Malayalam thriller remake. Or perhaps the lead actor felt uneasy about playing an LGBT character. Perhaps the designers wanted Dev-A to have a more stylized and bronzed appearance. Bhaiyaa makers have their own style. You won’t get credit for figuring out which movie comes to mind.
